Many artists incorporate sound into their work, but rarely is the sound able to stand on its own, away from a visual stimulus. By omitting any visual association the viewer becomes a listener, and the sound is able to exist independent of a visual narrative.
Throughout the second half of August and the beginning of September, the gallery will be set up as a listening room with a multitude of devices and headphones for people to come sit and listen to each piece and immerse themselves in sound.
